Ruth Davies

Ruth Davies is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Communications Officer at the Australian Digital Health Agency since November 2021. In addition to this role, Ruth has been a freelance editor since 2007 and has actively participated in professional organizations, including serving as Vice President and President of Editors Queensland. Ruth held the position of Chair of the Board at the Institute of Professional Editors (Australia) from May 2020 to November 2023, and previously convened the 8th IPEd National Editors Conference in 2017. Ruth's early career includes roles as Publications Officer at Ninti One Limited and Lecturer in Linguistics at Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education. Ruth holds multiple graduate diplomas in Arts, Education, and Linguistics from The University of Queensland, Charles Darwin University, and the University of New England.
