Robyn Black

Robyn Black has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Robyn is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at the Australian Electoral Commission since September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of National Manager, People at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions starting from August 2016. In 2020, they worked as the Assistant Secretary, People and Policy at the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment until December 2021. From January 2018 to September 2020, Robyn was the Branch Manager, People & Culture at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Robyn also worked at the Attorney-General's Department as an Assistant Secretary, AGD Service Centre from November 2015 to July 2016 and as a Director, Workforce Planning from November 2014 to October 2015. Moreover, they have experience in the Department of Finance and Deregulation where they held various roles including Director, Strategic HR from August 2008 to October 2011, Assistant Secretary, HR Services (a/g) from January 2006 to February 2011, and Director, Cultural Change Program from August 2007 to August 2008. Robyn's early career includes their role as the Manager, IT Services at the National Museum of Australia from 1999 to 2006.

Robyn Black obtained a degree in Education with a focus on Mathematics from the University of Canberra between 1985 and 1988.
