Benn Barr

Benn Barr is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Australian Energy Market Commission. Previously, Benn held various leadership roles in the government sector including Deputy Director General at the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy in Queensland. With a background in economics from James Cook University, Benn has also completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and received a certificate of completion from the Driving Government Performance Program at the John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
