Pradeep Fernando

Pradeep Fernando has over two decades of experience in finance and law, currently serving as Director of Network Finance & Reporting at the Australian Energy Regulator since May 2005. Prior to this role, Pradeep Fernando held the position of Senior Analyst/Assistant Director at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission from May 2003 to April 2005 and was the CEO/Director at De Silva & Abeywardena Stockbrokers, a full member of the Colombo Stock Exchange, from July 1991 to January 2000. Earlier in the career, Pradeep Fernando practiced as an Attorney At Law with Junior Counsel from December 1988 to April 1991. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Government & Commercial Law from The Australian National University and a degree in law from Sri Lanka Law College, complemented by education at St Joseph's College in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
