Head Of Mental Health And Wellbeing at Australian Football League

Dr Kate Hall has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and addiction. Dr Kate is currently serving as the Head of Mental Health and Wellbeing at the AFL - Australian Football League since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Lecturer in Addiction and Mental Health at Deakin University, where they also led the Treatment Stream Deakin Centre for Drug, Alcohol, and Addiction Research from April 2012 onwards. Dr Kate has been working as a Clinical Psychologist in Private Practice since April 2001. Dr Hall has also held various positions at different institutions including Swinburne University of Technology, YSAS PTY LTD (joint appointee with Deakin University), Monash University, Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre, and Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health. Dr Kate'sroles at these organizations include Visiting Lecturer, Senior Clinical Psychologist, Senior Project Manager, and Head Psychosocial Services.

Dr Kate Hall completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Clinical Psychology from The Australian National University in 1997. Dr Kate then went on to pursue their Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the same institute and successfully obtained the degree in 2002.
