Afl/w Mental Health Practice Lead at Australian Football League

Emma Harris has a diverse work experience in the field of sports psychology. Emma currently works as the AFL/W Mental Health Practice Lead at the AFL - Australian Football League since June 2020. Prior to this, they were a Contract Psychologist at Communicorp Group starting from April 2019. Emma also founded Sport Psychology Tasmania in January 2012, where they provided sport and performance psychology services to athletes throughout Tasmania.

In 2019, Emma worked as the Athlete Wellbeing Coordinator at AFL Tasmania until October 2020. Emma also served as the Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Coordinator at the Tasmanian Institute of Sport from September 2018 to October 2019. Moreover, they have experience working with Cricket Tasmania as a Sport Psychologist, managing their Sports Psychology Program and supporting High Performance Players' well-being, education, and career development.

In 2014, Emma worked with the Australian Sailing Team - Paralympic as a Sport Psychologist for a year. Emma started their career as a Provisional Psychologist at the University of Queensland from February 2010 to December 2011. Overall, Emma's work experience showcases their expertise in sports psychology, particularly in athlete well-being and performance.

Emma Harris completed a Bachelor of Psychology degree from the University of Tasmania between 2006 and 2009. Emma then went on to pursue a Master of Applied Psychology degree in the field of Sport and Exercise at The University of Queensland from 2010 to 2011.
