Jack Lynch has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2005, they worked as a Bicycle Mechanic at Ivanhoe Cycles. From 2009 to 2011, they held the position of Contracts Administrator at Contract Management Systems. Jack then worked as a Workshop Manager at The Freedom Machine from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined RIDE Media as a Staff Writer, where they wrote news, reviews, and features for print and online publications. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Broadspectrum. In 2017, they joined the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW) as a Communications & Event Briefings Officer. Jack later served as a Senior Speechwriter and Communications Officer from 2019 to 2020, and as a Senior Media Advisor from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are working as a Media Manager NSW/ACT at AFL - Australian Football League. Additionally, they have also worked as a Writer and Editor on a freelance basis since 2012.

Jack Lynch pursued their education chronologically, starting from high school at Xavier College from 2000 to 2007. Following that, they studied project management at RMIT University, where they earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree from 2008 to 2011. Finally, they completed their Master's Degree in Digital Communication and Culture at the University of Sydney from 2016 to 2019.
