Jason Williams

Jason Williams has a diverse work experience, with their most recent roles including Head Coach AFL Indigenous Talent Programs at AFL - Australian Football League, Managing Director at Wombar Group, and Economic Broker at Kinaway-The Victorian Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce. Prior to those positions, they served as National Indigenous Manager at SEDA Group and Director at Young Athletes Mentoring. Jason also has experience as an Assistant Football Coach at Calder Cannons Football Club and as a Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter at Leemark Fire Protection Pty Ltd, Australian Essential Services Maintenance, and FIRELINE.

Jason Williams began their education in 2006 at Sunbury College, where they completed Years 7-10 as part of the VCAA School Curriculum. In 2009, they attended Pine Crest School, where they completed their high school education. Afterward, in 2011, they enrolled at Essendon Keilor College for Year 11 studies.

In the same year, Jason also obtained a Certificate II in Sport and Recreation from Victoria University. In 2012 and 2013, they pursued further studies in Sport and Recreation, earning a Certificate III from Victoria University.

Continuing their educational journey, Jason attended RMIT University in 2014, where they completed a pre-apprenticeship program in Plumbing, earning a Certificate II.

In 2016, they enrolled in Fire industry Training, where they acquired a Cert III in Fire Protection, specializing in Fire Prevention and Safety Technology/Technician.

Currently, Jason is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree at Australian Catholic University, specializing in Business/Commerce, General, with an anticipated completion in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Jason has also obtained several certifications. Jason holds an AFL Level 2 coach certification from AFL Victoria, a White Card certification from WorkSafe Victoria, and a Working With Children Check certification from the Victorian Government.
