Samuel McKenzie

Samuel McKenzie is an experienced coach developer and sports professional with a robust background in talent pathways and coaching content. Currently serving as a Coach Developer for Metro and Coaching Content and Learning Lead at the AFL - Australian Football League since March 2020, Samuel previously held the position of Junior Coach Development Manager at Auckland Rugby Union from August 2017 to March 2020. Additionally, Samuel contributed as the High Performance and Regional Development Manager at AFL New Zealand from December 2015 to August 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Sports and Exercise from Auckland University of Technology (2017-2019) and a Bachelor of Physical Education in Sport Science from the University of Otago (2008-2011).
