Tom Whiting

Tom Whiting currently serves as the National Coach Recruitment, Development & Retention Lead for the AFL - Australian Football League since October 2022. Prior to this role, Tom was the National Education & Development Manager at Athletics Australia from November 2021 to October 2022 and held the position of Education & Workforce Manager at Gymnastics Victoria from March 2018 to November 2021. Tom also served as the General Manager of BMX Victoria from December 2016 to March 2018, where responsibilities included managing daily operations, developing strategic plans, overseeing events, and fostering stakeholder relationships. Tom holds a Master's degree in Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) from Edith Cowan University and a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Deakin University, along with education received at Harvard University.
