Leonore Ryan

Leonore Ryan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, program development, and business innovation. Currently serving as a Startup Year Working Group Member for the Australian Government Department of Education, Leonore provides valuable advice on program settings impacting educational outcomes. As Chair and Non-Executive Director at Western BACE, Leonore fosters a community-driven business environment in Melbourne’s West. In their role as Director of Incubator & Accelerator Programs at the University of Tasmania, Leonore aims to enhance research impact through entrepreneurship initiatives. Additionally, as Principal at idea2opportunity, Leonore supports researchers and STEMM founders in business development. Previous notable positions include Co-Founder and CEO of Cardihab Pty Ltd, where Leonore led a digital health startup, and various managerial roles at CSIRO, where skills in lean startup methodologies were developed.
