Catherine Johnson

Catherine Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, planning, and program management within the human rights and community services sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Officer at the Australian Human Rights Commission since August 2022, Catherine previously held multiple leadership positions at the Australian Red Cross from April 2011 to July 2022, including Program Coordination and Support Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and Coordinator of the Migration Support Program. Catherine's career also includes a role as the Coordinator of Refugee Youth Projects at SydWest Multicultural Services from March 2006 to April 2011, where responsibilities involved supervising youth workers and supporting newly-arrived refugee and humanitarian youth.
