Lloyd Dobson

Lloyd Dobson currently serves as the Manager of Governance at the Australian Maritime Safety Authority since July 2012, overseeing the development and implementation of governance systems, including performance monitoring, risk management, and quality assurance. Previously, Lloyd held several leadership roles, including Manager of Governance at the Department of Labour and Director of Performance Excellence at Housing New Zealand Corporation. A background in project management is evident from the role as Manager of the Project Management Office at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. Lloyd's military experience includes serving as a Senior Officer and Director of Army Resource Management in the New Zealand Defence Force. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Studies with Distinction from Massey University, participation in the AMSA Senior Leadership Program at the University of Melbourne, and completion of the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
