Omar al-Mogahed

Omar AL-Mogahed currently serves as the Manager of Sanctions and AML Governance at Klarna since September 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Sanctions Investigator at Robinhood from November 2021 to September 2025 and positions at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, where Omar held titles of Senior Counterterrorism Analyst and Counterterrorism Analyst between February 2019 and November 2021. Earlier experience includes working as an IT and Data Analysis Professional Aide at Michigan State University from May 2018 to January 2019. Omar holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Business Administration from Wheaton College Massachusetts and an International Baccalaureate from Li Po Chun UWC.
