Alamin Hossain

Alamin Hossain is an experienced Program Manager at ANSTO, leading the development of a groundbreaking waste treatment plant for intermediate level liquid wastes, utilizing ANSTO-developed technology. Previously, Alamin served as the Engineering Portfolio Leader, overseeing a team of engineers and project managers in the Nuclear Operations Portfolio. Alamin's career includes senior roles at JDS Uniphase Pty Ltd and Fasco Australia Pty Ltd, as well as a foundational experience as a lecturer at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Alamin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Birmingham and several diplomas in project management and business management from the Australian Institute of Management.
