Andia Javidirad

Andia Javidirad is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in risk, compliance, and regulatory affairs within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel & Lead Business Partner for Regulatory, Risk & Compliance at Australian Payments Plus since January 2024, Andia previously held the position of Global Head of Risk & Compliance and General Counsel at etika from December 2021 to November 2023. Andia's career includes significant roles at Promontory Financial Group and EY, where expertise in regulatory oversight and compliance frameworks was honed. Andia began the legal journey at The Law Society of New South Wales and contributed to various organizations including PwC and The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. Andia holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, a B.Comm/LLB from Macquarie University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
