Emma Humphries is a seasoned professional in event management and leadership within the maritime and sporting sectors. Currently serving as the National Event, Class & Youth Manager at Australian Sailing since June 2014, Emma leads strategic planning and manages the national events calendar. Concurrently, Emma holds positions as General Manager for NSW/ACT at Transport for NSW and an honorary Maritime Advisory Council Member, providing expert advice on maritime safety and infrastructure. Additionally, Emma actively contributes to the Recreational Vessel Advisory Group, enhancing safety and regulations for leisure boating in New South Wales. Previous roles include administration at Yachting South Australia and graphic reproduction in the printing industry. Emma's educational background includes advanced studies at the University of New England and Harvard Business School, along with specialized programs focused on women in sports leadership.
