High Performance Director at Australian Sailing

Iain Brambell OLY is an accomplished high-performance director with extensive experience in the sports sector. Currently serving as the High Performance Director at Australian Sailing since November 2021, Iain has previously held similar positions at Rowing Canada Aviron and Own The Podium. Iain's contributions to athlete representation include serving as an Athletes' Commission Representative with World Rowing and as a Senior Sport Partnership Manager with The Australian Sports Commission. A three-time Olympian and 2008 Olympic bronze medalist in lightweight men's four, Iain has been actively involved in athlete advocacy through roles in organizations such as BC Athlete Voice and AthletesCAN. Iain holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from Brock University and a Bachelor of Education from Western University.
