Michael Sutherland

Michael Sutherland is the General Manager NSW at Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) and has been involved with the Dubbo Project since 2000. Michael previously held the same title at Alkane Resources Ltd, where Michael started in 1995 as an Environment Supervisor. With a background in geology, Michael has also worked as a Mine Geologist and Exploration Geologist at various companies. Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Sydney and has completed graduate certificates in Australian Rural Leadership and Community Relations in the resources sector. Throughout their career, Michael has also served as a Director at various organizations and owned and operated a broadacre sheep and wheat farm.
