Danielle Cave has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Danielle is currently the Director of Executive, Strategy & Research at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), where they are responsible for managing research, staff, recruitment, and program management. Prior to this role, they served as the Deputy Director of the International Cyber Policy Centre at ASPI. Danielle has also worked as a Senior Analyst at ASPI.

Before joining ASPI, Danielle was a PhD Scholar at The Australian National University, specializing in Political & Social Change. Danielle has also served as a Google Policy Fellow at the Digital Asia Hub, focusing on cyber issues in Asia.

In addition, Danielle has worked for the Australian Government as a Team Leader and Analyst, and they have had a co-funded secondment between the Lowy Institute for International Policy and AusAID. During this time, they held positions as a policy officer, deputy director, and research associate in various branches and programs.

Earlier in their career, Danielle worked as an Editorial Coordinator at The Yomiuri Shimbun, where they covered breaking news and feature stories in the Pacific Islands region, including China's activities in the area.

Overall, Danielle brings a wealth of experience in strategy, research, cyber policy, political and social change, and international affairs.

Danielle Cave completed their Bachelor of Business degree with a major in Marketing & Management from the University of Technology Sydney in 2004. In 2010, they obtained their Masters degree in International Security from the University of Sydney.
