Experience also includes roles as Executive Director for Jobs and Industry Development at both Investment NSW and NSW Treasury, along with significant contributions to Austrade as Senior Industry Expert for Defence, Advanced Manufacturing and Space. Earlier career highlights include senior leadership at Lazard and Credit Suisse, along with an academic foundation comprising an MBA/MPP from Georgetown University and a combined Economics and Law degree from the University of Sydney.

The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) is an independent, non-partisan policy institute based in Canberra. It was set up by the government to provide fresh ideas on Australia's defence and strategic policy choices. ASPI is charged with the task of informing the public on strategic and defence issues, generating new ideas for government, and fostering strategic expertise in Australia.
