Shweta Nagendra

Shweta Nagendra has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and management. Shweta currently holds the position of Head of Commercial Finance at Australian Unity since June 2023. Prior to this, from September 2020 to June 2023, they worked as the Manager for Business Information at Jewish Care Victoria. Shweta also has experience as a Manager for Financial Accounting & Reporting at Housing Choices AU from March 2020 to September 2020. Shweta has held positions as a Finance Business Partner at Austin Health from July 2019 to February 2020 and as a Commercial Manager at Programmed from July 2018 to June 2019. Shweta has also worked as a Finance Manager at Energy Safe Victoria from November 2017 to May 2018 and at Ramsay Health Care from July 2016 to September 2017. Shweta Nagendra's education history includes several achievements in the field of accounting and finance. In 2004, they attended Christ University in Bangalore and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on accounts. Following this, in 2008 and 2009, they enrolled in the Internal Revenue Service, where they obtained the Enrolled Agent degree, specializing in tax. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Nagendra pursued the Certified Practicing Accountant program at CPA Australia, receiving the certification in accounting and finance. Shweta also obtained a Professional Certification in accounting and finance from the Certified Public Accountant program in Australia during the same time period.
