Cassandra Boland

Cassandra Boland is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in governance and advisory roles. Currently serving as Senior Assistant Company Secretary at AustralianSuper since June 2023, Cassandra previously held the positions of Senior Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at AFL SportsReady from July 2012 to June 2023, and Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at the same organization. Prior roles include Acting Executive Officer of Governance at Yarra Ranges Council, adviser positions in the Office of the Premier of Victoria and the Office of the Minister for Sport, Recreation and Youth Affairs, and employment and industrial law at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. Cassandra began the professional journey as a Policy Adviser for the Office of the Hon. Anthony Byrne MP and held a Legal Assistant position at Farrer & Co. Educationally, Cassandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Arts (Policy Studies) from Deakin University.
