Matthew Dive

Matthew Dive is a highly experienced professional in investment risk management, currently serving as Senior Director of Investment Risk at AustralianSuper since April 2013. Dive is responsible for providing analysis, insights, recommendations, and policy guidance on investment risk for a multi-asset class investment portfolio, emphasizing asset allocation and total portfolio construction. Previously, Dive held the position of Manager for Market and Sovereign Risk at the Bank of England from August 2008 to December 2012, overseeing various risks including market risk, sovereign credit risk, and liquidity risk. Dive also served as Manager of Financial Markets Infrastructure & Policy at the Reserve Bank of Australia from 2000 to 2008, focusing on policy and oversight concerning financial risks in wholesale markets. Dive's educational background includes a degree in Banking and Securities Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Law degree from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Economics from the University of Melbourne.
