Christian Kubitschek

Christian Kubitschek has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Christian recently served as the CEO of Anadi Bank since July 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of Vorstand / Board Member (CFO, CRO, OPs) at bank99 from July 2019 to June 2020.

Before joining bank99, Christian worked as a Senior Projektmanager Bank at Österreichische Post AG, where they focused on risk management, finance, and treasury from May 2019 to June 2019.

Christian also has extensive experience in the banking industry, having held the position of Group CFO and Deputy CEO at Addiko Bank AG from April 2016 to April 2019, and as Group CFO at Sberbank Europe from March 2013 to April 2016.

Prior to their roles in the banking sector, Christian worked as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from September 2004 to January 2013. Before that, they gained experience as a Senior Manager at Ebner, Stolz & Partner from August 2002 to August 2004, and as a Manager at Ernst&Young from February 2002 to July 2002.

Christian's career also includes managerial positions at Ebner, Stolz & Partner from August 2001 to January 2002, and at Swiss Re, where they served as the Assistant CEO Non Life Group/CEO Swiss Re Germany and Head of Planning at Swiss Re Germany from January 1999 to June 2001.

Christian Kubitschek earned their PhD in Business Administration (Doktor der Betriebswirtschaft), as well as Diplom-Volkswirt and Diplom-Betriebswirt degrees from the University of Regensburg between 1990 and 1999. During the year 2003, they attended the CPA Institute in Chicago, where they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (US-Wirtschaftsprüfer), specializing in Accounting, Auditing, Tax, and related fields.
