Michael Dinges

Michael Dinges is a seasoned professional in the field of Innovation Policy and Transformation, currently serving as Head of Competence Unit Transformation Governance and Senior Expert Advisor at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH since September 2013. In these roles, Michael leads research efforts and develops services aimed at advising decision-makers in research, technology, and innovation policy, encompassing strategy development to implementation. Prior experience includes positions as Deputy Head of Research Group Technology, Innovation and Policy Consulting at Joanneum Research - POLICIES, and Manager of Evaluations at Joanneum Research - Institute of Technology and Regional Policy. Earlier, Michael served as a student tutor in applied econometrics at the University of Vienna. Michael holds a Mag. rer. soc. oec in Economics from the University of Vienna, supplemented by studies at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
