Tahir Kapetanovic

Tahir Kapetanovic serves as Vice-Chair and member of the ENTSO-E Board since January 2014, and has held the position of Chair of the ENTSO-E System Operations Committee. In parallel, Tahir Kapetanovic has been with Austrian Power Grid AG as Manager of the Regional Coordination Project and Convenor of the SOC Steering Group Operational Framework, and Head of System Operation since September 2011. Previous roles include Director of Electricity at E-Control, where responsibilities included oversight of the electricity market in Austria and the EU, as well as various engineering and management positions at iT-AUSTRIA, Ericsson, Alcatel Austria, and Alcatel Elin Forschungszentrum. Tahir Kapetanovic completed an Executive MBA at the University of Minnesota and WU Wien, and holds multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering from FER and Technische Universität Wien.
