Maria Artner

Maria Artner has a diverse work experience in finance and controlling roles. Maria is currently working as the Head of Finance and Controlling at AustroCel Hallein GmbH since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Business Partner Sales & Service at PALFINGER AG from August 2021 to August 2022. In 2021, they also served as the Head of Controlling (interim) at HOERBIGER for a brief period from March to June.

Maria has a solid background in controlling and strategic pricing. From 2014 to 2020, they held various roles at HOERBIGER, including implementing a value-based pricing concept, working as a Senior Business Controller, and contributing to the Integration Management Office. Maria also worked as a Controller at Brenntag from 2012 to 2014 and had a brief controller role at Londonewcastle in 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Accountant at Hansteen Holdings Plc in 2011 and gained experience in audit and financial advisory services at Deloitte from 2005 to 2010. With their extensive experience, Maria Artner has developed strong financial and analytical skills.

Maria Artner obtained their Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz in 1999-2004. Maria then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from SKEMA Business School from 2002-2004. Maria Artner also became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from 2008-2010.
