Jon Kenney

Jon Kenney is a seasoned strategist with a strong background in online advocacy and community organizing. Currently serving as Managing Strategist and Senior Digital Strategist at Authentic since August 2021, Jon has previously held the role of Senior Online Fundraising Manager at MJ For Texas and various positions at M+R, including Account Executive and Associate. Jon’s experience also includes impactful work at the Chesapeake Climate Action Network, where the focus was on grassroots organizing against fossil fuel pollution and advocating for environmental justice. Previous roles include leadership positions at the Fund for the Public Interest and the California Public Interest Research Group, as well as significant contributions as a college student leader and research intern. Jon holds a Master’s Degree in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Science with a specialization in Geology from Eckerd College.
