Kerim El-Hakim

Kerim El-Hakim is an experienced professional with a diverse background in user experience and design. Kerim is currently the Head of UX/UI at Authentic Gaming since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior UX/UI at Mutuel Play Ltd. from November 2016 to December 2020.

From 2012 to 2016, Kerim held various roles at Playtech, including Head of Design and UI/UX Designer. During their time at Playtech, they were responsible for leading UI changes based on UX data, analyzing user behavior for frictionless experiences, and collaborating with development teams for successful project implementation. Kerim also established user personas and made product enhancements through user interviews and usability testing.

Before their work at Playtech, Kerim was the Director and Manager of bakinpowder Ltd. from 2008 to 2012. Here, they achieved notable accomplishments such as NPS calendar design and branding projects for clients. Kerim also worked as a Responsive UI Designer at H. H. Saudi Research & Marketing from February 2012 to July 2012.

Kerim's earlier experience includes being a Senior Creative Web Designer at Sportingbet from June 2009 to December 2011, a Junior Creative Flash Web Designer Intern at Wunderman Interactive in August 2005, and a Junior Graphic Designer Intern at Outwalk from August 2003 to October 2003.

Kerim El-Hakim has a strong educational background in the field of digital media and communication. Kerim obtained a MSc. degree in Digital Media from Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Hochschule für Künste Bremen, during the period of 2005 to 2006.

Before pursuing their master's degrees, Kerim El-Hakim earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Graphic Design from Lebanese American University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their degrees, Kerim El-Hakim has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and expertise. Kerim received a UX Management: Strategy and Tactics certification with Best in Class Distinction from The Interaction Design Foundation in March 2020. In January 2020, they also obtained a MOBILE USER EXPERIENCE (UX) DESIGN certification, achieving a Top 10% in Class distinction from the same institution.
