Declan Morris

Declan Morris is the current advisor at Authomize. Prior to this, they were an Executive In Residence at Costanoa Ventures from February 2020 to August 2020. In this role, they were an active member of the investment team, advising existing portfolio companies and assessing potential investment opportunities.

Before their time at Costanoa Ventures, Declan Morris was the CIO at Splunk from March 2013 to January 2019. In this role, they grew global IT from 45 to 200 employees and implemented a cloud-first strategy that enabled revenue growth from $200M to $1.8B. Declan also drove the IT integration of 10 acquisitions, migrated IT to Agile-Lean Principles, and grew and reallocated the IT budget for strategic investments.

Prior to their time at Splunk, Declan Morris was the VP of Cloud Operations at Adobe Systems Inc. from August 2007 to February 2013. Before that, they were the Sr. Director of IT Services at eBay Inc. from June 2003 to August 2007 and also at PayPal from June 2003 to August 2007.

Declan Morris received a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco.
