Kristy Walters

Kristy Walters is a skilled professional in the field of care coordination and support for children and youth with exceptional needs. Currently serving as a Care Coordinator at Autism Ontario since August 2022, Kristy has previously held various roles at Resources for Exceptional Children and Youth - Durham Region, including Intensive Service Coordinator, Service Planning Coordinator, and Family Support Worker in the Ontario Autism Program from August 2018 to August 2022. Prior experience includes positions at Kinark Child and Family Services, where Kristy worked as a Family Support Worker and Family Resource and Support Coordinator, and a placement as a Juvenile Probation Officer Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Kristy began a career in promotional roles during studies at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from Ontario Tech University and a General Arts and Science diploma from Fleming College.
