Lori Sharpe Day has had an extensive career in legal affairs and government relations, beginning with their role as Deputy Chief of Staff in the office of John Ashcroft in 1999. Lori Sharpe went on to work as an advisor to the Attorney General and Director of the Office of Intergovernmental and Public Liaison at the United States Department of Justice. In 2003, Sharpe Day became Vice President for Government Affairs at the Air Transport Association, and in 2005, they joined The Ashcroft Group, LLC as a Principal. In 2007, Sharpe Day became Managing Partner of The Ashcroft Law Firm, LLC, a position they held until 2020. In 2020, Sharpe Day was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and also became Chief Legal Officer and Secretary to the Board of Directors of Autism Support Now, LLC, where they develop and leads corporate legal and compliance strategy.
Lori Sharpe Day graduated from Nathan Hale High School, but the duration of their attendance is unknown. Lori Sharpe then attended the University of Oklahoma from 1985-1989 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Lori Sharpe later graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law from 1990-1993, receiving a JD degree in Law.
