George Burton

George Burton has a diverse work experience in the field of design and creative management. George started their career as a Junior Graphic Designer at Excel Publishing Ltd in 2003. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at TBWA\Manchester as a Mac Artist, producing digital and print-ready artwork for various brands. In 2010, George joined Boohoo Group PLC, where they held roles as a Senior Designer, Creative Manager, and Senior Creative Manager, responsible for implementing the brand identity and overseeing print production, graphic arts, and website management.

In 2015, George moved to the BBC and served as a Creative Director for both BBC Education and Knowledge and Learning departments. Their responsibilities included contributing to the user experience strategy, managing design guidelines, and leading major design and engineering projects. After working at the BBC, George joined BEAUTY BAY in 2017 as the Head of Creative, where they determined the creative needs of the business and facilitated innovative ways to visualize the desired message.

In 2019, George became the Creative Director at AO, working across multiple large brands and leading the creative team in concepting and performance. Currently, they are serving as the Experience Design Lead at Auto Trader UK, responsible for the quality of design work and leading design efforts across a portfolio of projects.

George Burton completed their Illustration/Animation degree at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2000 to 2003. George also obtained a BTEC National Diploma in 3D Modelling Using 3DS Max from Manchester College of Arts and Technology in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they studied Art and Design, earning a BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma at Blackpool and The Fylde College from 1999 to 2000.
