John Borkholder

Mr. Borkholder is general counsel and senior vice president of administration of Autobahn Therapeutics

Mr. Borkholder has over 15 years of leadership in biopharmaceutical organizations, including with both public and private biopharmaceutical companies. His expertise includes legal and strategic support of transactions, corporate governance, and operations and administrative functions across organizations. Mr. Borkholder has played central roles in leading the structuring, negotiation and execution of global collaboration and licensing deals, as well as complex financing, M&A and tax transactions. Prior to Autobahn, Mr. Borkholder served as a consultant and outside general counsel to early stage biotech companies in multiple industries and therapeutic areas. Previously, he served as general counsel and secretary of Maxygen, Inc. He obtained his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings School of Law and his B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
