Carl Howard

Carl Howard began his career at Autobell Car Wash before he even started elementary school. At age 4, he would accompany his father, Chuck, to his rounds at the family’s three initial Autobell locations in Charlotte. By age 12, Carl was assisting in washing cars and performing other duties at the growing company. At 18, he became an Autobell store manager.

Upon graduating from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1990 with a B.S. in Business Administration, Carl joined Autobell® full-time to help run the then 10-unit car wash company founded by his grandfather, Charles “Charlie” Howard Sr.
