Christopher Calvin Govender

Christopher Calvin Govender is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in product integrity and development across various industries. Currently serving as a Product Integrity Engineer at Autocar Trucks since September 2022, Christopher focuses on ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of commercial vehicles. Prior to this role, Christopher worked as an Engineering Specialist at Triz Engineering Solutions, contributing to the development of critical vehicle components. Christopher also led the manufacturing of new cooking products as a Product Development Engineer at Defy Appliances. Early career experiences include roles as a Product Designer in Training at Bell Equipment, where Christopher engineered mechanisms for a prototype Tractor Loader Backhoe, and as a Graduate in Training at Bell Equipment South Africa, where Christopher assessed warranty claims and supported production line efforts. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, obtained in 2011.
