DC Louw is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the custom truck manufacturing sector. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Autocar Trucks since June 2020, DC Louw focuses on production-related matters, online validation and testing of designs, and cross-departmental support, while also managing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvements. Prior to this role, DC Louw worked as a Design Engineer at Triz Engineering Solutions, specializing in system integration for heavy-duty trucks, and gained foundational skills as a Junior Draughtsman at Fabrinox Pty Ltd, where engagement in custom projects and sheet metal fabrication was prominent. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, both from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
