Vamsi Krishna Pathipati

Vamsi Krishna Pathipati is an experienced Senior Staff Systems Engineer specializing in Powertrain and Charging Systems at Zoox since October 2018, where responsibilities include leading the architecture definition and development of innovative charging systems and L5 autonomous EV powertrains. Prior to Zoox, Vamsi served as a Systems Design/Architecture Engineer at Tesla, focusing on high voltage system design and optimizing charging systems for Tesla vehicles. Experience also includes work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and as a Member-R&D in Electrical at Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles, where involvement included designing EV charging systems and solar EV projects. Vamsi holds a Master of Applied Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Ontario Tech University and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IEC, JNTU-Anantapur.
