Neil Hume

Neil Hume is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive sector, currently serving as a Technical Specialist - Sustainable Manufacturing at HSSMI since August 2022. Hume also holds the position of Senior Manager in EV Battery Manufacturing at Autocraft Solutions Group while previously working as a Project Manager at Contechs Consulting Ltd, where Hume successfully delivered a £2.5m evaporative emissions test capability for a UK luxury vehicle manufacturer. From May 2009 to February 2021, Hume contributed significantly to Jaguar Land Rover in various senior management roles, including overseeing engineering and technical support for EV battery manufacturing and establishing a new manufacturing engineering team. Hume's career at Jaguar Land Rover began in January 2001, focusing on V6D engine applications for multiple luxury models. Hume holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree, attained between 1996 and 2000.
