Youngchae Kim (Ian)

Youngchae (Ian) Kim has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Representative at STEN. Youngchae (Ian) then worked as a Branch Manager at a company in 2016 before joining LG Display as a Scientific Researcher, where they focused on increasing OLED efficiency through device formulation and research. In 2017, Youngchae worked as a Research Assistant at Siemens Healthineers. The following year, they became a Product Manager at Penta Security Systems Inc. In 2019, Youngchae took on multiple roles. Youngchae (Ian) joined SHIFT as the Head of Branding, team ISLAND as the Chief Executive Officer, and AutoCrypt as the Chief Strategy Officer. In their role as CSO at AutoCrypt, Youngchae was responsible for corporate strategy, business strategy, and corporate planning. Youngchae (Ian) achieved significant accomplishments such as being highlighted in Forbes Asia Startup 100 to Watch List and closing successful funding rounds for V2X/IVS development and globalization.

Youngchae (Ian) Kim completed their high school education at Joonang High School from 2012 to 2015. Youngchae (Ian) obtained a high school diploma with a focus on science.

From 2015 to 2022, Youngchae (Ian) Kim pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Entrepreneurship Convergence at Pohang University of Science and Technology.
