Simón Vélez Giraldo

Simón Vélez Giraldo has held various roles in the finance and technology industries since 2014. From 2014-2017, they were an Asset Management Analyst and Operations Analyst Intern at BTG Pactual. From 2017-2019, they worked as a Private Equity Senior Analyst and Private Equity Analyst at Stealth Mode. From 2019-2020, they were a Consultant at Mastercard Advisors. In 2020, they were an Investment Associate and Senior Investment Analyst at Polymath Ventures. Most recently, in 2021, they became the VP of B2B at Autolab, a platform for automotive service for businesses in Mexico City. At Autolab, Simón has helped multiple companies in various industries such as logistics and transportation, dry cleaning, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and tourism. Simón has provided solutions such as corrective mechanics, preventive mechanics, specialized mechanics, bodywork and painting, verifications, and automotive guarantees.

Simón Vélez Giraldo obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes between 2012 and 2016. In 2018, they obtained a certificate in Evidence for Decisions: From Descriptions to Decisions from Harvard Kennedy School. In 2015, they obtained a certificate in Financial Markets from Yale University through Coursera Course Certificates.
