Alex Beese-Hernandez

Alex Beese-Hernandez is an experienced professional in the field of cell and gene therapies. Currently serving as Lead Production Operator at Autolus Ltd. since December 2018, Alex has been actively involved in the technical transfer of CAR-T cell manufacturing processes, designing batch manufacturing records, writing protocols, and validating equipment. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CliniMACS Prodigy, Alex plays a crucial role in training and mentoring production teams while also addressing quality events in manufacturing processes. Prior to this, Alex worked as a Production Operator at NHS from August 2017 to November 2018, where responsibilities included manufacturing various cell and gene therapies and ensuring compliance with quality management systems. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Hertfordshire, obtained in 2017.
