Vimal Patel

Vimal Patel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Vimal started their career as an Internship Trainee at FAG Bearings India Ltd, where they gained experience in electrical maintenance and repairing. Vimal then worked as a Lecturer at Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology, teaching electronics engineering subjects.

After that, Vimal worked as a Graduate Assistant at Western Michigan University, where they were responsible for teaching and grading Digital Logic Laboratory. Vimal also taught courses on Xilinx ISE and Modelsim XE III.

Vimal then joined Automated Control Concepts as a Lead Engineer, where they contributed to projects for MannKind Corporation and MedImmune Inc. Vimal designed control system architecture drawings using MS Visio, developed custom control panels and server rack drawings using AutoCAD, and created cGMP design documents.

Next, Vimal worked at MannKind Corporation as an Automation and Controls Engineer. Vimal designed, programmed, simulated, and tested process control systems for full compliance with FDA regulations. Vimal also supported various control systems within the facilities.

Currently, Vimal is working at Automated Control Concepts as a Senior Principal Engineer. Their responsibilities include designing, specifying, programming, simulating, and testing process control systems for different industries such as pharmaceutical, refinery, utility, and energy. Vimal also develops control system design documentation and test protocols.

Throughout their career, Vimal has utilized standards such as GAMP4, S88, S95, and 21 CFR Part 11 for the design, development, installation, qualification, and validation of control systems.

Vimal Patel completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from S.V. Regional College of Engineering & Technology, Surat (India) between 1996 and 2000. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Western Michigan University from 2004 to 2006.
