Kareem Elassy

Kareem Elassy currently serves as Sr. Principal Engineer & Program Manager at Skorpios Technologies, Inc., focusing on process integration of silicon photonics and quantum devices for AI and HPC systems. Prior to this role, Kareem was a Foundry Technologist at Intel Corporation, where expertise in front-end process integration was applied to FinFET and GAA nodes. Academic experience includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, an MS in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and a mini-MBA in Business Strategic Leadership from Rutgers University. Other notable experience encompasses roles as a Research Assistant and Researcher at various institutions, including the Egypt-IBM Nanotechnology Research Center and Technische Universität Darmstadt. Kareem is also pursuing an Associate of Science in Quantum Computing from MIT xPRO.
