Kareem Elassy

Kareem Elassy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in process integration and technology development within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Sr. Principal Engineer at Skorpios Technologies, Inc., Kareem leads the process integration of silicon photonics and quantum devices targeted at AI data centers and HPC connectivity. Previously, at Intel Corporation, Kareem contributed to front-end process integration for advanced nodes from 10nm to 1.4nm. Early career roles include research assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and various teaching and research positions focusing on electronics hardware design at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the Egypt-IBM Nanotechnology Research Center. Kareem also holds an Associate of Science in Quantum Computing from MIT xPRO and a mini-MBA in Business Strategic Leadership from Rutgers University.
