Scott Beaudreau

Scott Beaudreau has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Scott is currently working at Automatiq as a Distinguished Engineer and Platform Engineering Lead, where they collaborate with a talented team to develop an industry-leading ticket pricing and distribution platform. Prior to this, Scott served as an Entrepreneur and Developer at Syncurix and MindStreams.ai, respectively.

Scott also has a strong background in technology and engineering. Scott worked at Expedia Group as a Distinguished AI Engineer, focusing on AI transformation and expanding the data science and AI division. Scott later transitioned to the role of Distinguished Cloud Architect, contributing to digital transformation projects involving cloud, big data, machine learning, and real-time streaming.

Before Expedia Group, Scott was a Principal Architect at HomeAway (now Vrbo), where they played a key role in analyzing, architecting, and delivering cloud migrations to AWS. Scott also served as a Technical Advisor at ZephyrApps, a startup specializing in voice applications and augmented reality, and as the Founder of Signostix, an IoT startup focused on real-time analytics and machine learning.

Scott's earlier experiences include working at Amazon Web Services on the Lambda team and at Circle Media as the Co-founder and CTO, where they helped companies improve audience relationships and measure experiential marketing efforts. Scott also worked at Dell as the Director of Search and Analytics, managing the search and analytics domains within the Dell Online Product Engineering division.

Scott began their career at Microsoft as a Principal Developer for the Bing Search team, contributing to the transition from syntax-based to semantic-based search.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in technology, AI, cloud architecture, IoT, and search. Scott is passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and solve complex problems.

Scott Beaudreau completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, attending from 1989 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in machine learning from various institutions such as Coursera Course Certificates and Amazon Web Services. These certifications include U.W. Machine Learning Specialization (4 courses), U.W. Machine Learning: Clustering & Retrieval, U.W. Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning @ Stanford, U.W. Machine Learning: Regression, and U.W. Machine Learning Foundations.
