Alex Johnson is a Senior Analytics Engineer at Automattic since 2021, leading Product and Platform Analytics for WooCommerce and guiding the Business Intelligence efforts for the executive leadership team. Previously, Alex served as a Running and Diet Coach at Team RunRun from 2019 to 2021, where coaching was focused on trail runners and weight loss. Alex began a career in software engineering as an intern at Boeing in 2010, with a focus on migrating legacy systems to modern frameworks. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems from the University of Washington, obtained in 2011.
