Melanie Barahona

Melanie Barahona is an experienced professional in workforce development, currently serving as Lead for Workforce Development at the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA) since September 2020, where responsibilities have included roles as Program Lead and Program Coordinator. Prior to this, Melanie worked at Roots as a Sales Associate from August 2015 to April 2023 and gained experience as an Early Childhood Assistant Supply at Growing Tykes Learning Centre between June 2016 and October 2020. Melanie Barahona holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto, obtained in April 2020, and is furthering education at The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University from January 2024 to April 2025, as well as at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies from January 2023 to November 2023.
