Michael Maddelein

Michael Maddelein serves as the Chairman of the Board and a Board Member at the Automotive Safety Council since October 2019. Concurrently, Michael holds the position of Vice President of Engineering, Americas, and Vice President of Manufacturing Strategy at Adient, leading product engineering and global operations strategies for the Americas region. An independent business owner at Maddelein Innovations since December 2013, Michael provides consulting services in engineering and program management. Previous roles include Vice President of Global Product and Manufacturing Engineering at Inteva Products, Vice President & Business Head for Engineering Services at Tech Mahindra, and Vice President of Global Program Management and Business Development at Lear Corporation. Michael commenced a career in engineering with General Dynamics Land Systems and Environmental Technology Group. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Michigan State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.
