Amelia Vacante

Amelia Vacante has extensive experience in instructional design and online technology specialist roles. Amelia started their career as an Administrative Assistant at The Catholic University of America in 2015 and worked in that role until November 2018. From December 2018 to August 2020, they served as an Online Technology Specialist and then transitioned to the role of Instructional Coach from August 2020 to August 2021. From September 2021 to March 2022, they worked as an Instructional Designer at The Catholic University of America. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Instructional Designer at Automox, starting in March 2022.

Amelia Vacante holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Learning Design & Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Amelia also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Networks & Cybersecurity from the same institution. Additionally, Amelia has obtained various certifications, including a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera, a Culturally Responsive Teaching Certification from the Council for At Risk Student Education and Professional Standards, and multiple certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as developing a learning mindset, gamification of learning, and organizational learning and development.
